This course will provide details on what behaviors to look for and the proper steps to prevent an active shooter incident. You will also learn how to make educated life-saving decisions regarding which actions to take during an active shooter incident. \nCOURSE OBJECTIVES  \n\nThe proper modes of response during an active shooter incident\nGain better understanding of Active Shooter incidents \nKnow the definition of an Active Shooter \nGain understanding how these events affect businesses\, schools and places of worship\nGet better at recognizing potential workplace violence indicators \nLearn how to respond when law enforcement arrives \nDescribe actions to take to prevent and prepare for potential active shooter incidents \n\nClass prerequisites: Completion of a state handgun carry permit class or other comparative pistol shooting class. You should also have some experience safely handling a pistol. We recommend full or medium sized guns for this class.
