There are lots of people advertising permit classes nowadays. We will introduce presenting form a holster and practice drawing during dry fire/ live fire. We will cover shooting from common positions seen in defensive shooting with a higher level of accuracy. We welcome teenagers\, great-grandmothers\, and everyone in between… as long as you’re a law-abiding female who is physically and mentally capable of following easy instructions and handling firearms safely. \nSorry guys\, but the Women On Target® clinics are available only to female participants. Women will enjoy this relaxed and friendly environment\, whether it’s your first time handling a gun or you’re hoping to dust off existing skills with a little refresher. We typically fire around 50 rounds on the range\, but every class is tailored to accommodate the individual participants\, and no two classes are alike. This is the eight-hour safety course required by the State of Tennessee to obtain a Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit (EHCP). Tennessee does not require a permit to merely own a firearm (for example\, if you keep one in your home). However\, if you want to carry a firearm on your person out in public\, you’ll need a permit. There are lots of people advertising permit classes nowadays. The course concludes with a written test and a shooting qualification drill.
