DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Combative Pistol is the flagship post-permit class originally designed by Tom Givens of Rangemaster. It is an intensive weekend course that covers all the essential skills required for fighting with a handgun. As Tom Givens focuses more on instructional development\, the Rangemaster Combative Pistol course is now primarily taught by Aqil Qadir (Rangemaster staff instructor and owner of Citizens Safety Academy).[/vc_column_text][vc_tta_accordion style=”modern” shape=”square” color=”mulled-wine” c_icon=”chevron” active_section=”9″ no_fill=”true” collapsible_all=”true”][vc_tta_section title=”Course Details” tab_id=”section-course-details”][vc_column_text]Topics covered in this course will include: \n\nRapid presentation from concealed carry\nEffective gun handling techniques\, designed to work under stress\nRapid reloading techniques\nHigh speed accuracy at close ranges\nPrecision shooting at mid-ranges\nShooting effectively with one hand\, with either hand\nFixing malfunctions rapidly and reliably\nProper defensive mindset\, personal tactics\, and more.\n\nExpect to fire about 550 rounds of ammunition. This course is designed expressly for the armed citizen who carries a concealed handgun\, or the plain clothes or off duty police officer. \nYou will need a good handgun\, holster\, belt\, and magazine pouch\, at least three magazines\, a ball cap and concealment garment (vest\, jacket\, windbreaker\, etc)\, and eye and ear protection. A cooler with soft drinks\, water\, snacks and lunch will be needed\, for lunch on site. \nYou will need a quality handgun and gear. It is a good idea to bring a second gun just like your primary\, in case something breaks on your primary gun. Please bring good quality ammunition. You will shoot better\, your gun will function better\, and you will learn faster. Leather or kydex holsters are fine—PLEASE NO flimsy nylon or cloth holsters. AIWB carry is allowed.
