After nearly thirty years of steady upward progression through the ranks of the Topeka Police Department\, he ventured out on his own to pursue private training on a more regular basis. Chuck maintains his POST certification and stays active in the law enforcement community\, but he now devotes even more time to training other police officers\, military personnel\, security forces\, and private citizens on the art and science of personal defense. He enjoys teaching and is proud to be able to contribute to this nation’s widespread community of responsible\, law-abiding advocates of self-defense. \nContact Chuck at chuck@agiletactical.com.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Equipment” tab_id=”1570750342799-d79e07e8-b3d8″][vc_column_text]What to Bring: \n\nA reliable/serviceable handgun\n\nService-sized pistols 9mm/.40S&W/.45ACP\, etc. are preferred.\nHowever\, smaller concealed carry or back-up pistols may be brought to class and their use discussed and worked on.\n\n\nA quality strong side or appendix carry outside or inside the waistband holster from which the shooter can safely draw and re-holster with one hand.\n\nSoft clip-on or nylon type holsters\, or holsters that collapse and disallow re-holstering with one hand\, or shoulder holsters\, are unsuitable for this type of training.\nPlease do not use a Serpa holster unless you are required by agency policy to carry one.\n\n\nA minimum of 400 rounds is needed for this class (if you like to shoot\, you might want to bring more\, but 400 will easily get you by…).\nChuck can provide dummy ammunition in 9mm\, .40S&W and .45ACP for use in some of the drills we will be conducting.  If you are carrying a caliber different than one of these please bring six dummy rounds in the correct caliber with you.\nEye and hearing protection; active type shooting muffs are highly suggested so that range commands can be clearly heard.\nBall cap or other hat/cap with a bill.\nNote-taking materials\nSnacks\, water\, medications\, folding chair\, and anything else you need to be comfortable in the elements (this is an outdoor class)\n\nFrom Chuck: \nI will be providing dummy handguns for some of the training in this class.  I have several Glock 17/22 sized dummy guns and other types of handguns.  However\, if a student has a dummy gun of their own that they use for training then feel free to bring that to class. \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Prerequisite Skill Level” tab_id=”prereq”][vc_column_text]This is an intermediate-level course.
