Private and semi-private classes are available for individuals, couples, families, or groups. Tell us the goals you want to accomplish during your private training, and we’ll do our very best to make certain you attain them. Private training is the best way to learn safe gun handling for beginning, intermediate, or advanced shooters. It allows students to learn in a focused, intimate setting with minimal distractions. One-on-one attention creates a positive and comfortable environment that is conducive to steep learning curves and rapid results.

One of the best ways to learn a new skill or to increase current skill is with private or one-on-one coaching. With private coaching you receive the instructor’s undivided attention and focus. CSA staff are some of the best shooting and personal defense instructors in the industry, and we’ll be happy to help you learn. We specialize in new shooters and the gun-curious, who may be a little scared or apprehensive about their first experience with a firearm. Occasionally, we offer our standard courses in a “ladies only” format. We understand that training with a bunch of men can sometimes be intimidating, especially if they are much more familiar with firearms than you are. We provide a relaxed and comfortable environment where women can learn on their own terms and be safe and confident handling any weapon. In addition to building confidence, shooting can be lots of fun! For those who prefer this format, our Ladies Only classes allow women to enjoy the experience a lot more without fear of being judged.

Do you live outside of the Nashville area but still want to train with Citizens Safety Academy? Excellent. If you can’t come to us, we would love to bring our services to you. Hosting a CSA course is a lot easier than most people think. As long as your locale has a suitable range and classroom space, we can conduct a class just like we would anywhere else. All it takes is a few students who are ready and willing to invest in the course, and we can make it happen.

We travel for all our standard CSA and NRA courses, as well as for private and custom courses.
