Course Description:
Research shows that human beings are tribal by nature. We can’t help but gravitate towards people who remind us of ourselves. But have we taken this natural tendency to a counterproductive extreme? If you’re a firearms trainer, a gun-industry product vendor, or a Second Amendment advocate of any kind, then you can’t afford to idle in your social or political comfort zone. This session will take an honest look at how the pro-gun community can become less insular and reach audiences beyond the echo chamber.
The Rangemaster Tactical Conference is the premier defensive training event event of the year. Launched by Tom and Lynn Givens over twenty years ago, the conference has grown into a busy three-day weekend featuring five concurrent tracks of classes in every defensive discipline. There are classroom seminars (non-shooting), live-fire blocks (pistol, shotgun, and rifle), hand-to-hand classes, medical classes, scenario-based force-on-force classes, and much more. Difficulty levels range from beginner classes on basic fundamentals to advanced classes for experienced practitioners. This year, Tac-Con will be held at the NOLATAC Training Center just outside of New Orleans, LA.
All of the CSA Instructors have trained with Rangemaster. CSA instructors Aqil Qadir and Tiffany Johnson were both mentored by Tom and Lynn Givens and have taken almost every course Rangemaster offers. Aq and Tiff are honored to be tapped as presenters for the 2019 Tac-Con, where over 40 of the nation’s top trainers all gather to teach different training blocks throughout the weekend for over 300 conference attendees from all over the country.
