Please note that this is an On Target Shooting Sports class. This class will not be taught at or by Citizens Safety Academy. CSA has a close working relationship with On Target. Several of our CSA instructors also work at On Target, including Ryan McCann, Tiffany Warner, and Chris Norville (who serves as the Director of Training at On Target). So, CSA occasionally posts On Target classes here. We highly recommend On Target’s courses, and we hope you enjoy training with Chris and his team!

Do you need a carry permit, or should you choose to carry under the new permitless system? We will examine the laws and explain the differences between the two, so that you can make an informed choice about what is right for you.

Do you truly understand the legalities of defensive force? We will cover the laws governing defensive use of force, as well as give real world examples to aid in understanding.

We will do all this in plain English, so that you will not require a law degree to understand.

This is not the class required by the state to receive your carry permit.

There are no prerequisites to take this class. It is designed for people who have questions about the carry and self defense laws.

There is no required equipment for this class.  The class is entirely in the classroom.
