This is an interactive course that includes practical exercises designed to help participants develop effective techniques for safety enforcement on a shooting range.

Each Range Safety Officer candidate will receive an RSO Student Study Guide and other informational materials for reference. The course concludes with a written exam. The NRA RSO certification is an excellent first-step in earning the experience, training, and credentials required to supervise indoor or outdoor shooting range operations and maximize safety for all involved.

There are no prerequisites for this course, but all attendees should be experienced shooters and should have a solid working knowledge of general firearm safety principles.
